Our Story...
JZ Renovations started on my dad’s job sites — Jesus Zazueta, decades in the trades, building a Coachella Valley reputation on craftsmanship that never cut corners. I grew up learning from him, and when I stepped into the business, the mission was clear: take everything he built and scale it into a contracting company the Valley could count on. Today, we’re doing exactly that — with Chris running project management and electrical, Kevin leading cabinetry and client communication, and Frank driving our brand and marketing. A family standard, a real team, and one promise that hasn’t changed: built right, built once.
Our Mission...
To raise the standard of contracting in the Coachella Valley — one home, one family, one project at a time. We’re here to do the work most contractors won’t: pull every permit, walk every job, hire craftsmen we’d trust in our own home, and stand behind everything we build long after the final walkthrough. My dad spent his career proving that craftsmanship and integrity still matter. Our mission is to carry that forward — to give Coachella Valley homeowners a contractor they can finally trust, and to build a company my family will be proud to put our name on for generations to come.
Core Values...
Everything we build is built on five values — the same ones my dad taught me on his job sites, and the same ones we hold every member of our team to. Craftsmanship, because the work has to be right before it can be done. Integrity, because the easy shortcut is never worth the long-term cost. Family, because we treat our team, our clients, and their homes the way we’d treat our own. Honesty, because clear answers and honest timelines are how trust gets built. And accountability, because the name on the door is the name responsible — start to finish, every time. These aren’t words on a wall. They’re the standard we live by, and the reason our clients can finally stop worrying about whether their contractor will do what they said they’d do.
We’re not the cheapest contractor in the Coachella Valley, and we’re not trying to be. We’re the one homeowners call after they’ve been burned by someone else — and we’re the one they refer their family and friends to once the work is done.
Our reputation isn’t built on slogans. It’s built on the things most contractors skip: pulling every permit, walking every job with my dad before sign-off, hiring craftsmen in-house instead of bouncing between subs, and standing behind the work long after the final walkthrough.
When we finish a project, we want you to feel three things — proud of the home you live in, relieved the process is finally over, and confident you made the right call when you hired us.
That’s the standard. That’s the promise. And that’s the reputation we work to earn on every job.
